Loopcast09: David Leitch
We kick off 2012's Loopcast mixes with an excellent set from one of our regular collaborators... David Leitch.
One of the brains behind Proper: the Glasgow techno night which has hosted parties in the Soundhaus, Ad Lib and The Courtyard to name a few, one half of dynamic live act (2A)K and a favourite guest at both Loop and Trench, David has turned in an exceptional mix that sees him embracing the more experimental side of the Proper sound.
Enjoy...

Loopcast08: House Meanz House
The Loopcast is a series of podcasts from Glasgow club promoters Loop. Each episode features a mix from one of the Loop DJ's or from one of their many allies and collaborators. Expect music from across the full spectrum of house and techno.
We return this month after a few months off with a mix from House Meanz House.
House Meanz House started buying vinyl in the late 80's and picked up his first set of second hand decks in 1992. He spent the next few years playing house parties, making literally hundreds of c90 mixtapes and losing himself at underground parties Paradise Park and The Bond as well as several weekend trips to Hard Times, Back to Basics, Cream and several lost summers in Ibiza.
Following a long lay off brought on by the birth of his daughter he's back DJing and has constructed a studio in his garden that now regularly hosts all night parties with HMH providing the beats.
His sets are heavily influenced by the US house sound of the late 80s and early 90s and this mix is no different.
Enjoy!

The Score has been djing since 1997 with 1210's and later CDJ's. His frequent online mixes are of the highest quality and are packed full of energy, taking in everything from detroit techno to hip-hop and always staying true to the traditional 2 or even 3 deck & mixer set-up.

Loopcast06: Haunted Code
The Loopcast is a series of podcasts from Glasgow club promoters Loop. Each episode features a mix from one of the Loop DJ's or from one of their many allies and collaborators. Expect music from across the full spectrum of house and techno.
This month sees Steve Dent aka 27B provide the beats under his new Haunted Code moniker.
Steve's addiction to DJing, playing out and throwing parties began in the mid 1990's in his native South Africa. Now, that addiction has found its way to Glasgow and has seen Steve play the Loop birthday party for us, co-host and play at every Trench party at The Halt with Loop resident Neill Murphy and also launch the fantastic Industry radio show on Subcity.
On top of this his production talents have not gone unnoticed and he has released tracks on both Submoover Records and Deep Nota Records with his 'Detroit Made Us' release in particular going down a storm.

Loopcast03: Tre Turner
The Loopcast is a series of podcasts from Glasgow club promoters Loop. Each episode features an hour long mix from the Loop DJ's or their friends and many collaborators. Expect to hear music from across the many forms of House and Techno...
Episode three comes all the way from Amsterdam and is supplied by the first ever Loop guest Tre Turner. Only fitting that he be the first guest on the podcast also.
Here' s what he had to say about the mix...
Quite an old-school feel with this one, there are a couple of newer tracks in there but they tend to lean toward classic sounds. I used two Technics 1210s, an old Numark mixer and recorded it through Traktor Scratch. Every track was on vinyl other than my own one. It's a little rough around the edges at times but as Jeff Mills says, "that's how we like to party!"
Master C & J "Face it" (Dub It)[Trax]
Mia Hesterley "Spark" [KMS]
Steffi "November" [Underground Quality]
Maurizio "M7"
Virgo Four "Lites Go Out" [White]
Jus Ed "All Across the Floor [Underground Quality]
Quantec "Now More Than Ever" [Modelisme]
K. Hand "Mystery" [Tresor]
Claro Intelecto "Signifier" [Artificial Intelligence]
Sha-Lor "I'm in Love" [ZYX]
Fingers Inc. "Washing Machine" [Trax]
St. Andy "Motor City" [Psycho Thrill]
Chez Damier "Can U Feel It" (2 1/2 Step) [KMS]
